Hi and welcome to my website! I have always enjoyed photography, but only within the last couple of years have I really gotten to let my artistic side come out and share with others. When I started, I never set out to produce one specific subject. The more I explored, the more I realized what I liked and started to fall in love with. I enjoy finding old cemeteries, looking at the intricate details on 150 year old tombstones, seeing the detail of the carvers work. It’s magical to me. When I started photographing flowers, I started to feel the same way. The lines in the petals or leaves, the different colors that blend together, or the curvature of petals that almost seem like they go on and on. In the Pacific Northwest, we have an abundant amount of rain, which means there are so many waterfalls to find! Even on the side of a road, run off from the last rain storm can provide a beautiful photo opportunity. I am always on the lookout!
Since the summer of 2013, I have realized how much I enjoy finding abandoned buildings like barns, homes or school houses. I don't come around them often, but when I do, it feels like I hit the jackpot! I have also started to find black and white photography very intriguing. There is something mysterious about it. There is so much for me to learn and I definitely enjoy challenging myself when it comes to photography.
Whether I am at a beautiful cascading waterfall, finding wildflowers or inside an abandoned home, I want the viewer to feel like they are with me. I hope you enjoy the photos that I have created.
